1 General terms and conditions for current courses

1.1 Registration

By submitting the registration, the customer offers to conclude a contract with Tanzschule Frieling. Acceptance or confirmation of participation is made in writing, in the case of online bookings via e-mail, by Tanzschule Frieling. In the case of minors, the registration must be signed by a legally competent person.

1.2 Fee

The current fees are listed on the homepage. Registration obliges you to pay the full fee. A refund is not possible. Unless otherwise agreed, the fee is due by the first event date at the latest. Fees are generally debited on the first of the month. The fee must be paid in full, even if the student does not attend the lessons through no fault of his/her own. In exceptional cases, the management may issue a credit note. In the case of reminders and returned direct debits, the customer will be charged the processing fees or fees for the return of the direct debit in the amount of 25.00 euros each. For legal reasons, a separate direct debit authorization (separate section on the registration forms) must be issued for participation in the direct debit procedure.

1.3 Events & lessons

Tanzschule Frieling guarantees 36 lessons per year. During the statutory school vacations/holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia, there are no or reduced lessons, depending on the announcement. The organization of the lessons, the choice of rooms and the teaching staff are the responsibility of Tanzschule Frieling.

1.4 Membership card

We charge a deposit of 10.00 euros per person for our membership card. The card is non-transferable. If the card is returned after membership has ended, the deposit will be refunded by bank transfer.

1.5 Termination

Current Club membership can be terminated with a notice period of just six weeks to the end of the month and must be in text form. An email to info@tanzschulefrieling.de is sufficient for this. If the notice period is not observed, the termination will take effect at the next possible date.

1.6 Deregistration

Cancellations must generally be made in writing. If you cancel at least five days before the first event, you will only be charged a cancellation fee of EUR 25. This fee will be credited for new registrations within one year.

1.7 Subsidiary agreements

Verbal side agreements must be confirmed in writing by Tanzschule Frieling.

1.8 Individual applications

The Frieling Dance School always endeavors to acquire dance partners for individual registrations so that the courses and ball events take place in pairs wherever possible. However, this is not an obligation and does not release the customer from the obligation to pay a fee in the event of failure.

1.9 Liability

Participation in lessons is at your own risk. The dance school is only liable if gross negligence can be proven.

1.10 Data protection

Your data will be processed electronically. We assure you that your data will only be used for the purposes of Tanzschule Frieling and will not be made accessible to third parties. By signing this form, the participant/legal guardian confirms that they have taken note of this.

1.11 Photo & video recordings

As a participant and/or legal guardian, I declare with my signature my consent to image and sound recordings for the purpose of possible publication in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation GDPR (e.g. for public reporting, advertising, social media).
