Quickstep - The lively brother of the Foxtrot

The quickstep is the spirited version of the foxtrot. With its fast steps, many jumps and impressive lightness, it is one of the more demanding standard dances. The dance originated in England in the 1920s and is danced to lively music in 4/4 time. Quickstep is like a walk on the dance floor - only at a run.
