Oberwesel training camp

Time for two. An all-around wonderful dance weekend.

An entire weekend just for you—as a couple, as hobby dancers, as connoisseurs. The Oberwesel training camp run by the Friebling dance school combines dancing, athletic development, and enjoyment for a special getaway amid the vineyards on the Rhine.

What to expect

• At least 10 dance workshops for amateur dancers

• The most beautiful dances for couples – Standard & Latin

• Free choice of workshops: Characters, technique, and style training

• Physically demanding, but always fun

• Time for video recordings after each workshop

• Dance party & social gathering

• Torchlight hike & wine tasting in the historic vaulted cellar

• Full board including coffee break

• Comfortable accommodation with private rooms and showers

• Fantastic location with views of the Rhine, vineyards, and Schönburg Castle

The typical procedure

Friday: Arrival & check-in, dinner together, evening workshop (e.g., disco fox or couple dancing), followed by a dance party until around 10:00 p.m.

Saturday: Workshops in the morning and afternoon, lunch, coffee break, time for walks and relaxation, dinner, torchlight hike, and wine tasting in the vaulted cellar.

Sunday: Breakfast, workshops in the morning, lunch together, and departure in the early afternoon.

The exact workshop schedule will be published in advance. You can decide spontaneously which workshops you want to attend—no registration or cancellation required.

Who is the training camp for?

The Oberwesel training camp is a couples dance weekend. Participation is only possible in pairs.
Couples organize themselves—we do not provide dance partners.
